Giving Opportunities

Outside In East

Since 1968, Outside In has continued to evolve its programming to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. As our client populations are pushed out of downtown Portland toward the east side of the city, we will open a second site in 2020 to provide health care and social services to youth experiencing homelessness and low-income people in the Gresham area. The new building has many attractive naming opportunities for donors who wish to support our work and honor a loved one or family member.

Want more information? Our Major Gift Officer is here to help you. Please call or email Tess Anawalt at 503.535.3855 or to discuss naming and other giving opportunities.

The Jane Williams Society

Outside In’s Jane Williams Society brings together a community of philanthropists who play an important role in caring for some of Portland’s most at risk citizens. Named after one of Outside In’s dedicated volunteers, this group of generous supporters is the bedrock on which its programs and services stand. By making an annual gift of $1,000 or more to the area of greatest need, you make it possible for thousands of low-income people and people experiencing homelessness to receive compassionate health care and social services each year.

Legacy Giving – The Bihn Legacy Society

Outside In would not be where it is today without generous individuals who provided for the agency in their wills and estate plans. Whether you name Outside In in your will or use some other method to transfer assets, your deferred gift will have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of thousands of people experiencing homelessness and low-income people.

Even for those with more modest means, legacy gifts can help you make a significant contribution to Outside In while meeting your own financial goals.
Want more information? Our Director of Development is here to help you. Please call or email Lori Slaughter at 503.535.3867 or to engage in a conversation about supporting Outside In through your estate plans.
