Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming

An Affirming Space

Outside In has created an affirming environment at its health clinic, and our patients’ comfort matters to us. We understand that every transgender or gender non-conforming person’s experience is unique, and we are here to help. Our clinic strives to create a safer place for everyone to be treated with dignity and respect. Because of this, all of our physicians are trained and able to manage gender-affirming hormones (GAH). We offer this care on an ‘Informed Consent’ basis for those 15 and older, per Oregon law. During your first visit at our clinic, your medical provider will make sure you fully understand everything in the form before you sign it. At our downtown clinic, we do not offer pediatric medicine services, so depending on your age, we might not be able to see you if you are too young. Additionally, our outpatient mental health services are only through our youth program, so we are not able to offer transgender-related mental health services in the clinic. If you are looking for a gender-affirming therapist, we might be able to recommend one at a different agency.

If you have any questions about our transgender and gender non-conforming services, you can email us at or call 503.535.3860 and select the option 6 to speak to the Transgender Services Coordinator.
