Services We Provide
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Outside In provides 28,000 medical visits a year to the most vulnerable members of our community. For those who are unable to come to us, we have two medical outreach vans to provide care right where they are, before medical problems escalate and they end up in the emergency room.
In our school-based health care in Clackamas County, we reach out through the schools to at-risk youth and families in the surrounding communities providing interventions, resources and health care that can prevent a vulnerable youth from one day ending up on the streets.
Quality Primary Health Care
Poverty, homelessness, and inadequate access to health care prevent people from achieving full health and well-being. With our client-centered approach, Outside In specializes in providing care that overcomes barriers and helps our patients reach their health goals. We work in partnership with all our patients to find a path towards greater health and wellness.
Outside In is a teaching site for Oregon Health & Science University, the National College of Natural Medicine, and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. These partnerships extend our reach.
A coalition of medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, and Chinese herbalists join together to provide relationship-based primary care.
As a patient at Outside In, the dignity, compassion, and respect that I was shown by staff truly had a lasting impact on me and directly resulted in me wanting to get involved in helping my community.
