Longest Night Homeless Memorial

This Saturday, December 21st, is National Homeless Persons Memorial Day. This day takes place on the longest night of the year, and is a space to remember our neighbors who died homeless in the past year.
Since 2011, when Multnomah County began tracking deaths of people who were homeless, at least 530 people have died.
Portland’s Longest Night Homeless Memorial will begin on Saturday at 3:00pm at the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade at SE Salmon.
