There’s never been a better time to give!

Dear Friend

Outside In is honored to play a role in helping youth and others experiencing homelessness as they move towards improved health and self-sufficiency. Since 1968, we’ve been committed to meeting everyone who comes in our doors without judgment. We remove barriers so they can receive the services they need. For everyone who enters, we strive to ensure Outside In feels welcoming. We offer more than a clinic and pharmacy, more than a place to get off the street for a healthy meal, more than a career and education center, and more than a transitional housing program—we create and sustain community.

A critical element to all these stories of success and hope is our donors. Without our generous supporters, we would not be able to offer the trauma-informed, radically inclusive care we’re known for in Portland.

We think you care about your neighbors experiencing homelessness. We believe you’re invested in your community, too, and that you want to see a humane city where people receive the support they need without judgment, without conditions.

There’s never been a better time to donate to Outside In!

Thanks to a generous gift from The Mitzvah Foundation, gifts from new donors this season will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to the first $3,000! You can double your impact!

“As a charitable foundation, we have a responsibility to align with organizations that reflect our donors’ interests in supporting the delivery of health care services for children and youth. The challenge match not only provides The Mitzvah Foundation the opportunity to support Outside In, but also to join others who share a commitment to help Portland’s families and youth access life-changing programs and services,” says Tobey Shaw, a foundation trustee. “We hope you’ll join us and give others the gift of a healthy and bright future.”
