A chance to take your support to the next level!

Dear Friend

This holiday season, we’re inviting only our most dedicated donors to consider becoming a sustaining, monthly donor. Why? What difference does that make when you’ve supported us annually so far? Monthly donors are the sustainable base for our work, our foundation, ensuring we will have consistent funding to provide the services we’re known for in Portland—the services our neighbors count on.

Sustaining donors help us ensure the security of our mission even during the most uncertain times. As a global pandemic becomes endemic, a recession looms over the world’s economy. In any financial downturn, our communities are the most vulnerable and most directly impacted. Homelessness is closer to most of us, most of our friends and family, than we might realize. Compassion and a dedication to meeting people where they are makes Outside In different. When we combine that philosophy with the wraparound medical and social services we offer, we can help our neighbors experiencing homelessness move toward improved health and pursue their dreams.

But you don’t have to take our word for it! We recently spoke with Charlize, a new resident of our transitional housing program. “It’s an adjustment because I’ve never had my own space,” she shared. “I had to prioritize my mental health. It was scary at first. It didn’t feel real. But I got all my help in one building. My therapist is in the basement and the medical clinic is on the first floor. If health problems come up, my providers are right there. It makes me feel supported.” That’s the difference you’ve made by supporting Outside In. You can take that difference to the next level by making a recurring monthly gift now.
