Pharoah Bolding Video Introduction Transcript
Hello, hello, hello.
It’s nice to e-meet you all.
Allow me to e-introduce myself.
Sure those are things. We’ll roll with it.
My name is Pharoah Bolding, and I am proud to be Outside In’s new Director of Human Resources
For me, the reason I came to Outside In is because of the work that Outside In does to support so many marginalized communities who don’t get opportunities and support and services that they need to thrive, to feel supported, and to actually maintain their mental, emotional, and physical health and well being.
I feel very honored to be able to bring my skills to the folks at Outside In to support them and the work that they do.
When I approach HR, I approach HR from the lens of this is human work – the human part of HR. And for me, the human part of HR is making sure that Outside In is an equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist organization that supports its people and the work that they do because we impact so many people every day.
I’m proud to be here. I’m proud to dive into this work. And I hope to meet some of you or all of you in some capacity when the world has gotten to a point where we can all congregate once again.
Thank you for having me. Thank you for giving me your ear.
Peace.
