Outside In is now offering low-barrier, accessible pediatric services at our East Portland Clinic!

We are so excited to have expanded our services and to now be offering pediatric services at our East Portland Clinic, located at 16144 E Burnside St, in the Rosewood Neighborhood.

Why are we offering pediatric services?

There are many families that reside in the Rosewood community, as well as families that do not have health insurance or do not have affordable primary care or pediatric services readily available. We have heard from the community that access to health care and services is a large need and that there is a need for health care services close to people’s homes. While there are other health centers in the Rosewood community, there are few that offer a full scope of family medicine and pediatric services and Outside In is determined to help meet that need.

Our pediatric services include the following:

  • Well child exams
  • Immunizations
  • Labs
  • Sports physicals
  • School physicals
  • Newborn or infant care
  • Treatment for illness or injuries
  • Some on-site medications
  • Referrals to specialty providers

Who is eligible for services at our East Clinic?

The East Clinic is available for anyone, ages 0 and up. Anyone ages 14 and under will need to be on-site for their visit with their provider and will need a guardian present. Patients between the ages of 15 – 17 do not need to have a guardian and can have their appointment on-site or through video or phone visit with their provider.

Our focus is low-barrier and accessible healthcare for families. We aim to build relationships so children and families have a trusted provider to handle their primary care. Navigating healthcare can feel complicated and scary at times, and we aim to make it as easy as possible. Our clinic staff will help navigate children’s preventative health, assist with OHP enrollment, or handle care when you have a sick or injured child. We have bilingual staff and interpreter services available.

How do I make an appointment?

Call 503.535.3860 or come in-person to schedule an appointment. Anyone ages 14 and under will need to have a legal guardian schedule and attend their appointment. Patients ages 15 and up may call and schedule an appointment on their own.
